Award winning professional photographer Steve Gosling is exhibiting his stunning black and white landscape images at Lockwoods. Steve is an internationally acclaimed photographer who specialises in producing atmospheric images that convey his emotional response to the the world around him. Much more than a pictorial representation, his photographs are a unique personal interpretation of the scenes he witnesses in the landscape.

29th August - Bank Holiday Sunday Lunch Magic. Lockwoods delicious traditional Sunday lunch, with a special summer treat, not only for children! Be entertained at your table with extraordinary illusions and magic by Robert McBratney. Childrens menu available, lunch served from noon to 3pm.

15th September - Call My Bluff Wine Tasting Evening. Three course dinner and complimentary tasting of six intriguing wines. Your challenge is to guess which of three possible descriptions of each wine is correct. The best wine afficionado at the end of the evening will recieve resounding applause, and a prize!

17th and 18th November - Ladies Christmas Wish List Evenings. So popular that we arer running it over two evenings this year. Come and view all the best in Christmas gifts from Ripons leading retailers, fill in your wish list, and take it home to ensure you get what you want this Christmas! Complimentary glass of fizz on arrival.

24th November - Live Jazz Evening. Lockwoods introduces Mike Westerman and his band. Live smooth jazz to complement our delicious a la carte menu with seasonal specials.

8th, 15th, 22nd and 23rd December - Festive Jazz Suppers, with Richard "Mutton Chops". Lockwoods will be hosting live jazz with our usual entertainment, alongside our a la carte menu with seasonal specials, and a great party atmosphere. Ideal for Christmas parties and get togethers.

9th and 16th December - Festive Table Magic Evenings. Lockwoods will be serving our great a la carte menu with seasonal specials, whilst you are entertained at your table by extraordinary illusions and magic. A magical and fun evening out with friends.

14th December - Lockwoods 5th Birthday party. Lockwoods extends a warm welcome to you to attend our evening. Come and celebrate Lockwoods birthday in style with live jazz from the Chris White Trio! Plenty of champagne will be flowing, fabulous cocktails, wonderful menu and canapes. Book your table early for this one....

19th December - Sunday Lunch with Live Jazz. Relax and let us take the strain. We will be serving our delicious traditional Sunday lunch menu accompanied by jazz vocalist Mike Westerman and his band. Enjoy before the Christmas madness begins.

24th December - Christmas Eve. Lockwoods will be serving food from 5pm to 9pm on Christmas Eve. Come and enjoy a delicious and relaxing meal before the festivities start.

31st December - New Years Eve. We will be serving our seasonal a la carte menu from 5pm, with childrens menu running until 7pm. Enjoy the best atmosphere in Ripon, and see in the New Year on the Market Square.
