British Food Fortnight Wednesday 19th Sept – Wednesday 3rd Oct

We are so lucky in Yorkshire to be blessed with some of the best produce the UK has to offer.  From fantastic cheeses handmade throughout the dales to the beautiful pink stems of the rhubarb triangle.   Further afield throughout the british isles the larder becomes even more diverse.  The spankingly fresh scallops from the cold waters off Scotland to Welsh lamb fattened in the lush valleys.  We are indeed a green and pleasant land with a bounteous crop each year to choose from.

To celebrate British food fortnight Lockwoods will be creating a special menu using the fantastic local produce available in Yorkshire and across the UK .  We will showcase some of the many products that are available at this time of year with special mention to local produce with the lowest of food miles.  As fresh as can be and from farm to fork in as little times as possible.
